What surprises will May bring....?
Well, I know that I have been pretty slack, not having posted anything since September last year. May have been slack, or may have been just toooooo busy. But then again, who isn't busy when they have family, home, work and a great network of friends.
The NEW Year bought an awesome trip to Kuala Lumur for me sans husband and kids. Had a ball with my friend Rochelle, and really enjoyed the shopping, no kids, drinkies, shopping, and did I mention no kids!
Back to work in February... have a great job and really enjoy spending my time with mums, dads and bubs. One thing that I am trying to achieve this year is to become a certified Lactation Consultant. This means a lot of study and then an application to do an exam in July that is sat at the same time all around the world by potential IBCLCs. I am really enjoying my study, and find the issues surrounding breastfeeding so interesting and thought provoking.
Then the painting and creative things have to be fitted in somewhere. Not much of that going on, but would like to get into developing my website further and maybe promoting more of the talent that Carnarvon has in its arts and crafts. My good friend and fellow partner in crime Nat of Liddel Stitches is still behind me encouraging me and spurring me on. She has fallen in love with power tools... her sewing machine is feeling suitably betrayed, and Nat is going to express her creativity in wood. I love a woman who is doing it for them self.
Sad for the Hudson Clan.... last week we lost or beloved Kenny Dog. Tragically he got Lymphoma and in no time at all became really unwell, so we had to say goodbye. We all miss him. Ironically the cats are really happy... they can now go outside again.
Any how... just a bit of a chat.... we try to keep up the posts... and make them more interesting... LOL!

How about a quick 1000Km round trip?
Hey all. Just got back from a day trip to Geraldton, which is our closest major town - 450km away. Had to take one of the kids to see the orthodonist. Left at 6.30am - drove down, spent less than 5 minutes seeing the orthodontist and then drove back again to be home by 6pm. I suppose it is just another thing to consider when you live remotely....
Thought a bit about painting on the way down and back, mostly about how I need to find time to do it! Manged o pick up some new colours and hope tos go into the week more inspired to create!

Everything is a Journey
Well hello fellow bloggers! Here I begin my journey of blogging. Really have no idea what I am doing, and could definately understand that not necessarily anyone would be interested in what I have to say or think or write etc etc...
I still need to figure out exactly what I am doing and get this blog set up so it looks as nice as others i have seen, but I am sure all my multitudes of followers will be patient with me and wait with baited breath for my next inthralling installment... hey you never even know - I might even be able to talk about my Teecatoee Giftware..... LOL!
